Tadano appoints Mang Chong Enterprise as official mobile crane distributor for Taiwan

Tadano has signed a distributorship agreement with Mang Chong Enterprise Co., Ltd., handing the Taoyuan-based company, also known as MC Crane, official responsibility for Tadano mobile crane sales and support across Taiwan from 1 July 2026.

The appointment formalises a relationship that stretches back decades. Mang Chong has sold and supported Tadano products in Taiwan since 2010, and its links with the Japanese crane maker go back further still: founder Chi-Huo Chien began importing used Tadano cranes from Japan in the 1980s, more than 40 years ago.

Growing demand for large cranes

Tadano points to rising demand in Taiwan for high-performance large cranes, driven by major construction projects, infrastructure development, energy-related investment and the continued expansion of the island’s semiconductor industry — sectors that regularly call for heavy all terrain and other mobile cranes.

A partnership four decades in the making

Mang Chong operates sales and service facilities in Taoyuan City in north-western Taiwan and supports customers throughout the island. Under the new agreement, the two companies intend to step up their collaboration and expand Tadano’s business in the Taiwanese market.

Chien added that since becoming an authorised dealer in 2010 the company has “witnessed the development of Taiwan’s industries and crane market while building a strong and trusted relationship with Tadano”.

Support across the island

For Tadano, the tighter arrangement is chiefly about after-sales coverage. “Through Mang Chong’s sales and service capabilities, we are confident that we can provide enhanced support to customers throughout Taiwan,” Fukui said. “Together, we look forward to expanding our business in the Taiwanese market and further improving customer satisfaction.”
