Jekko SPX1280 named best mini crane at PEM Awards 2026

The prize was presented during the awards ceremony held in Madrid on 24 September. The jury singled out the SPX1280, the largest model in Jekko’s SPX line of telescopic tracked mini cranes, which pairs a maximum lifting capacity of 8 tonnes with advanced stabilisation technology and compact overall dimensions.

Fourth PEM win for the SPX range

The Madrid trophy is the fourth time a Jekko mini crane has taken the category at the awards organised around Spanish lifting magazine Movicarga. The SPX1280 follows the SPX650, which won in 2021, the SPX328 in 2022 and the SPX532.2 in 2025 — four wins spread across four generations of the manufacturer’s telescopic mini crane programme.

Jekko presented the award as a joint achievement with Transgrúas, its official dealer for Spain, crediting the combination of its own product development with the dealer’s knowledge of the Spanish lifting market.

For the Treviso-based manufacturer, the result strengthens a run of industry recognition for the SPX range, which spans from compact units for indoor work up to the 8-tonne flagship that took this year’s prize.
