Purple SK1265-AT5 eLift handed over to France’s HR Levage

French crane company HR Levage has taken delivery of a Spierings SK1265-AT5 eLift, the Dutch manufacturer’s newest mobile tower crane, which pairs the lifting table of the six-axle SK1265-AT6 with a more compact five-axle carrier.

Big capacity on five axles

The SK1265-AT5 eLift is the latest addition to the Spierings range and is aimed at jobs where the six-axle flagship struggles for space. It lifts a maximum of 10 tonnes at up to 13.2 m radius and still handles 1,700 kg at the tip of its telescopic jib, which extends from 52 m to its full 60 m. Height under the jib is 40.5 m, the tower can be erected at two heights of 27 m or 37 m, and with the jib luffed to 30 degrees the maximum lifting height reaches 64.2 m. Spierings quotes a set-up time of 11 minutes.

Automatic ballast detection

The crane’s Automatic Ballast Detection System recognises and monitors the ballast fitted and sets the corresponding lifting capacity itself, taking a potential human error out of the rigging process. The zero-emission eLift system, built around a hybrid upper engine with Spierings’ PowerPack technology, allows fully electric, emission-free lifting on site.

Purple livery

HR Levage’s new crane stands out in a deep purple livery over a white carrier cab. The keys were handed over in front of the folded machine, which was displayed alongside Spierings presentation stands before heading to France.
