Two truck-mounted debuts: Jekko’s Smopyc line-up on the Transgruas stand
Jekko’s Spanish dealer Transgruas took stand AES23 at Smopyc 2026 in Zaragoza with a broad compact lifting line-up, headed by the world market premiere of the 8-tonne TRX80 and the Spanish debut of the TRX32.
The truck-mounted pair
The TRX family was the centrepiece. The TRX80 is an 8-tonne mini crane on a two-axle 16-tonne truck, shown to the market for the first time anywhere at the Zaragoza fair. Its stated figures are a maximum outrigger footprint of 4.6 x 4.6 metres, reach of over 27 metres and 8 tonnes maximum capacity, with crane functions running on lithium batteries charged from a generator driven by the truck’s power take-off or from single-phase and three-phase chargers.
Alongside it, the TRX32 appeared in Spain for the first time. At 3.2 tonnes and mounted on a truck that can be driven on a category B licence, it is aimed at customers who want a lifting machine that any employee can legally take to site.
Mini cranes, crawlers and glass handling
The rest of the stand covered the established range: SPX328, SPX532.2 and SPX650 mini cranes, the JF545.2 articulated crawler crane, the MPK06.2 and MPK10.2 two-in-one minipickers fitted with glass manipulators, and the MPK20.2 minipicker.
Transgruas also showed the JVM800 independent glass manipulator, which can be mounted on any mini crane in the range and is intended to widen the applications a single machine can cover in glazing work.
Why Zaragoza
Smopyc is Spain’s main international trade fair for public works, construction and mining machinery and one of southern Europe’s larger gathering points for the sector, which is what made it the chosen venue for a global product launch rather than a purely national showing. Jekko has been building out its truck-mounted category as a route into urban lifting work and jobsite mobility, a segment where the machine has to be road-legal, quick to set up and small enough to work between parked vehicles.
