Böcker invites customers to 360° Höhentage in Werne

NeXt Generation cranes on show

The centrepiece of the two-day event is the pair of NeXt Generation machines. The AHK 36e X trailer crane and the AK 37 X truck crane both use a twin-stage, fully hydraulic telescoping boom. The practical gain is that the available reach can be used in full whatever the set-up situation, and that the crane picks up extra working height when it is run in platform mode with a man basket. Alongside them Böcker will show its established truck cranes, trailer cranes, inclined hoists and rack-and-pinion hoists.

Basket rides and platform demonstrations

Visitors will not only see the machines standing still. Product demonstrations are scheduled throughout both days, and basket rides will be run on the AK 42, AK 48 and AK 52 truck cranes. The platform of the Super-Lift MX 2024 rack-and-pinion hoist offers a further view over the site. Four transport platforms will be present, among them the LX 4024 with a 6.8 m platform version.

Factory tours and digital tools

Guided tours will take visitors through the new logistics centre with its automated racking, and through the manufacturing halls. The official inauguration of the logistics building takes place on the Thursday morning.

The Böcker service team will be present with its maintenance, repair, inspection, training and rental offering, and visitors can sit a free annual safety briefing on the handling of crane equipment.

Digital products get their own focus. BöckerConnect gives owners location, performance and diagnostic data from connected cranes, while the Böcker LiftPlanner simulates a lift digitally before the crane leaves the yard — useful where access is tight and the set-up position has to be agreed with a client in advance. Co-exhibitors Airteam and Sahalift complete the line-up; the Böcker AirScanner uses drone imagery and AI-assisted processing to produce centimetre-accurate 3D building surveys.

Catering, cold drinks and a Friday evening party round off the programme, which Böcker positions as much as a trade meeting point as a product show. Registration is via the company’s event page.

For contractors weighing up a replacement machine, the value of an event of this type lies less in the stand displays than in the chance to compare set-up times and reach curves back to back on the same yard. With the AK 42, AK 48 and AK 52 all rigged and working, and both new hydraulic-boom models present, Werne offers a rare direct comparison across the range.
