Gradito Oleodinamica adds Tadano AC 5.250L-2 in Sicily

The company serves clients in the oil and gas, energy, industrial, construction and infrastructure sectors, and was looking for a crane that combines strong lifting performance with the flexibility to move quickly between jobsites. The five-axle AC 5.250L-2 answers that brief with the longest main boom in its class and a transport-friendly configuration: with the boom removed, the carrier weight drops to 40 tonnes at 8 tonnes per axle, easing travel on roads with strict weight limits.

Reach for industrial work

Gradito Oleodinamica expects to put the long boom to use on industrial maintenance, plant construction and infrastructure projects, as well as the installation of bulky or heavy components. Self-rigging boom extensions speed up set-up when additional reach is needed.

IC-1 Plus and Surround View

The crane runs Tadano’s IC-1 Plus control system, which calculates available capacity for every boom position from the actual outrigger configuration and slewing angle — useful on congested industrial sites where the outriggers cannot always be fully extended. An optional Surround View camera system helps the operator judge the space needed for outrigger set-up and the tail swing of the superstructure, while Eco Mode and an engine start-stop function cut fuel use and idle hours.
