With the RK 36/2400, Böcker Maschinenwerke has now placed a crane on the market that does not lose its grip, even on soft ground. Because the compact crawler chassis ensures reliable traction, optimal floor load distribution and also guarantees excellent manoeuvrability on any terrain. With a maximum extension length of 36 metres and load capacities of up to 2,400 kilograms, the new model also convinces by its performance with a low dead weight of only 4,650 kilograms.
Sand, gravel, wet and soggy grass areas: Height transport can quickly turn into a problem on difficult ground. The new crawler crane RK 36/2400 offers reliable traction and grip as well as even distribution of ground pressure. Designed for extension lengths of up to 36 metres, it safely lifts loads up to a maximum of 2,400 kilograms. Even with a load of 250 kilograms, a range of 23 metres can still be achieved. Amongst other things, this is made possible by its fully hydraulic telescoping hybrid mast section.
In creeping mode, the chassis of the RK 36/2400 reaches a speed of 2.4 km/h, and 4.5 km/h in rapid mode. The crane is powered by a powerful diesel engine. It can be additionally equipped with an electric motor with the same performance data, so that silent and emission-free working is ensured without a loss of power. This enables operation in industrial systems or production halls. The variable Multiflex support of the crane with a maximum support pressure of 27,000 Newton – as all other functions – can be conveniently operated using a remote control unit with a colour display and is equipped with an automatic self-levelling function.
The RK 36/2400 has versatile application options: For instance, it can not only be used as a crane, but also as a working platform with a permanently mounted and rotating working cage. It can be quickly converted thanks to its Easy Lock system – without any tools. This also makes it a valuable helper in hall, glass and facade construction as well as in gardening and horticulture applications.
