A newly-formed Netherlands-based company, Cranes For You B.V., has landed a Benelux dealership agreement with the Chinese Xuzhou Construction Machinery Group Co., Ltd. – XCMG.
Cranes For You B.V., based in Houten the Netherlands, will sell the full XCMG range of cranes and foundation equipment throughout the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg. In addition it will assist XCMG to further expand sales throughout Europe. Since 2010, XCMG is stepping up its investment in Europe. During the period 2010 – 2013, XCMG has invested more than 260 million euros in Europe. With the establishment of the companies XCMG Europe GmbH, XCMG European Research Center GmbH and XCMG Europe Purchasing Centre GmbH, the foundation for strategic investments has been laid. During 2019 further investments in a European Maintenance, Spare Parts and training centre are to be expected.
Although a larger range of cranes is fully compliant with the european machinery directive 2006/42/ec and can be delivered with an EU Declaration of Conformity, the focus for 2019 will be on the 60 tons and 100 tons All Terrain Cranes, the 85, 130 and 260 tons Crawler Cranes and the XR240E Rotary Drilling Rig for the foundation industry. The first 100 tons All Terrain crane, type XCA100E was handed over recently to one of the leading German crane rental companies.
