Fifteen SANY cranes head to BMS Stangeland, Crane Norway and Havator

Nordic lifting groups take a 15-machine SANY batch, including 110-tonne rough terrains

SANY has completed a bulk delivery of 15 cranes to three Nordic key accounts, with the machines due in Drammen in August before being spread across Norway, Sweden and Finland.

Fifteen machines for three fleets

SANY finished the batch delivery at the end of May. The cranes go to BMS Stangeland — the parent company of Crane Norway — and to Havator, two of the larger lifting and heavy transport groups operating in the Nordic region.

The batch includes 110-tonne SRE1100 rough terrain cranes and 250-tonne SAC2500E all-terrain cranes. The machines are scheduled to arrive in Drammen, on the Oslofjord, in August, from where they will be distributed to work across Norway, Sweden and Finland.

Why it matters

Nordic rental fleets have historically been conservative buyers, dominated by European crane brands, so a 15-unit order placed with SANY by established names in the region is a notable data point rather than a routine delivery. SANY has released no further detail on the split between models or on the commercial terms.
