Leading lifting solutions specialist, GGR Group has received the UK’s first industrial-assembly-crane, the AC500, from manufacturer HEMATEC, based in Germany.
The innovative AC500 allows operators to pick and carry loads of up to 500kg and can boom out to an impressive 5.1 metres. It is able to lift to a height of 10.5 metres and its 355° slew rotation and onboard electric battery makes it the optimum machine for both lifting and travelling with loads.
This AC500 benefits from a small working footprint thanks to its compact width, measuring at less than one metre (0.98m) and its low marking tyres make it the perfect machine for internal lifting projects in processing plants, manufacturing industries and sensitive environments.
Graeme Riley CEO of GGR Group “We see the AC500 Assembly Crane being used across a variety of industries. This innovative piece of kit is perfect for projects operating in confined and restricted areas, particularly in the automotive industry and its suppliers.
This product is unique within the market place and we see huge potential in it being attractive to our existing customer base for a range of applications. Our business was founded and has grown on the mantra of ‘innovation not imitation’ and the introduction of the AC500 to our product portfolio reflects that. We are looking forward to playing our part in introducing this pioneering product to the UK lifting industry.”
