Five years in Witten: Jekko’s German subsidiary opens its doors

Jekko Deutschland has marked its fifth anniversary with an open day at its Witten headquarters, bringing customers, dealers and lifting professionals from across Germany together for demonstrations and technical briefings on the current range.

An anniversary at the German base

The German subsidiary, set up in 2021, used the event to show the Jekko line-up to visitors from across the country and to walk them through the more recent developments in the range. Alongside the machine demonstrations, the day was built around meeting the local team and networking between contractors, rental firms and specialist lifting companies.

Why the German market matters

Germany is one of the larger European markets for compact tracked cranes and minipickers, driven by glazing work, industrial maintenance and installation jobs in city centres where access rules out conventional mobile cranes. A direct subsidiary rather than a pure importer arrangement gives Jekko its own service and parts presence in that market, which is generally the deciding factor for buyers of specialist lifting equipment.

Jekko thanked the Witten team for organising the day and the customers and partners who attended, describing the anniversary as a marker of the relationships built over the subsidiary’s first five years. No sales figures or fleet numbers were released with the announcement.
