At least twenty people are injured after the crane accident today in Alphen aan den Rijn, the Netherlands.
The two cranes felt over when lifting a part of the new Juliana bridge. The emergency services are being helped by Search & Recsue dogs from USAR.
The cranes are from the Dutch company Peinemann. Details about the accident have not been published. We will keep this post updated as more news comes in.
Update: Unlike the previous reports, only one man was injured in the accident. The search for other victims has ended this evening at 23:00 (local time). Looking at the devastation, it could have been a lot worse.
