Ehingen / Donau (Germany) March 2016 – Dutch crane contractor Schot Verticaal Transport has ordered twelve new mobile cranes from Liebherr. The company wishes to extend and modernise its fleet. The cranes will be delivered within the next 12 months. The load capacities of the cranes extend from 60 tonnes to 400 tonnes. The long-term good working relationship, excellent service and good value for money of the products were the main criteria for Schot to select Liebherr as its supplier.
Crane contractor Schot Verticaal Transport has developed extremely quickly over the last few years. This growth is based on continuous action to improve its quality, safety and close personal customer support. The steady rise in orders received has led to Schot investing in new cranes to increase its crane capacity.
The new order to Liebherr includes two LTF 1060-4.1 60-tonne truck-mounted telescopic cranes, three LTM 1070-4.2 mobile cranes, three LTM 1130-5.1 cranes, one LTM 1200-5.1, one LTM 1300-6.2, one LTM 1400-7.1 and an MK 88 mobile construction crane.
Schot Verticaal Transport’ Managing Director Roel van der Heide explains: “We have been working with Liebherr for many years here in the Netherlands and have a very good relationship. Liebherr provides the best service in the world and the cranes offer good value for money. That has led to us extending our fleet with Liebherr cranes.”
