First orders include 120-tonne all terrains as Zoomlion opens Brisbane branch
Zoomlion’s Australia and New Zealand subsidiary has inaugurated a new branch in Brisbane, and the first contracts signed at the opening included 120-tonne all-terrain cranes and tower cranes for local customers.
The Brisbane branch opened on 8 September local time, with customers and partner representatives attending the ceremony. For Zoomlion it marks a further step in building out a localised footprint in the Australia and New Zealand market, where the company has been expanding its regional service capabilities.
Crane orders signed on the day
Several local companies signed contracts at the opening event, with orders covering core products such as 120-tonne all-terrain cranes and tower cranes. Machines from across the group’s range – including engineering cranes, construction hoisting machinery, earthmoving, aerial work, agricultural and concrete equipment – were lined up at the site and gave working demonstrations.
Regional service hub
The new location is equipped with a product display area and a local service team. Zoomlion says the branch will strengthen its role as a regional service hub for Australia and New Zealand, improving market coverage and response times for machines already working in the region.
The company presents the investment as part of a long-term plan to deepen its presence in the Australia and New Zealand market and to grow its regional service network, following the pattern of localised sales and support operations it has been rolling out in other overseas markets.
