Hoeflon C30eL covers college site from one position in Doetinchem

Admiraal Compact puts long-reach Hoeflon C30eL to work at Graafschap College in Doetinchem

Dutch compact crane operator Admiraal Compact deployed a Hoeflon C30eL at Graafschap College in Doetinchem, where the long-boom electric mini crane covered a large work area from a single set-up position, cutting out repeated relocations.

Reach as the deciding factor

The C30eL is the long-boom version of Hoeflon’s largest mini crane and is aimed at jobs where height and reach matter most. With a maximum lifting height of 30.5 metres, it can serve points that would otherwise force a smaller machine to be repositioned again and again.

That was the advantage at the Doetinchem college site. Working from one fixed position, the crane covered the full work area in a single operation, which the manufacturer says saved considerable time over the course of the job.

Compact footprint, long boom

Despite the extra reach, the C30eL keeps the compact dimensions the Dutch manufacturer is known for, so it could be brought in and rigged in a confined space while still delivering the required performance. The battery-electric drive also suits work on and around occupied educational buildings.

Typical territory for the C30eL

Hoeflon positions the crane as a versatile tool for construction, installation, renovation and non-residential building work, and the Graafschap College project fits that profile: a busy site with restricted access where one well-placed compact crane with a long boom replaces either a larger mobile crane or multiple set-ups of a smaller one.
