Böcker Nederland puts Ivo Heuvelmans in charge as managing director
Böcker’s Dutch subsidiary has appointed Ivo Heuvelmans as managing director with effect from 16 March 2026, bringing in a manager with a background in technical B2B businesses at national and international level.
The appointment
Böcker Nederland B.V. said Heuvelmans takes overall responsibility for the Dutch operation from 16 March 2026. His previous experience covers business development, sales, operations, project management and human resources, and the company describes his approach as strongly market- and customer-oriented.
“We are very pleased that Ivo is joining us. With his vision, his leadership, his experience and his commitment we are convinced that he will make an important contribution to the further growth and development of our organisation.”
— Alexander Böcker, CEO, Böcker
Priorities for the Dutch market
Heuvelmans said he saw scope to build on what the company has already established in height access equipment.
“I am proud to become part of the Böcker team. The company has a strong reputation in height access technology built up over many years. With our broad product portfolio we meet exactly the requirements of today’s and tomorrow’s markets. That is reflected among other things in our sustainable, electrically driven products under the motto ‘Böcker Goes Green’. That is one of the reasons Böcker is a market leader. I see many opportunities to build on the existing, solid foundation together with the team and the whole Böcker organisation, to actively shape the future and achieve further growth.”
— Ivo Heuvelmans, managing director, Böcker Nederland B.V.
Böcker Nederland is the Dutch sales and service arm of Böcker Maschinenwerke, the Werne-based manufacturer of aluminium truck-mounted cranes, trailer cranes, construction and furniture hoists and rack-and-pinion hoists. The company’s electric line — the AK 48e truck crane and the AHK 36e and AHK 30e KS trailer cranes — is the part of the range Heuvelmans singled out.
In his first months the focus will be on strategy: deepening work with existing customers and partners, building new customer and partner relationships, and opening up new markets. The Netherlands is a significant market for trailer cranes and truck-mounted aluminium cranes, where narrow streets, canal-side access and tight urban plots favour machines with a small set-up footprint.
